The Valorant action continues in the Asia-Pacific region with the start of the VCT APAC Stage 2 Challengers group stage.
The 16 qualified representatives from the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, and Oceania will compete for the two spots at VCT Stage 2 Masters Copenhagen in July.
Masters Reykjavik contenders Paper Rex and Xerxia Esports are aiming to make it to their second international Valorant LAN in 2022. Both squads remain in top form, winning their respective Stage 2 Challengers regional competitions.
Meanwhile, Team Secret are eyeing a return to the international stage after an impressive run in VCT Philippines Stage 2 Challengers, where they did not drop a single match.
VCT APAC Stage 1 Challengers champion Paper Rex are the team to beat in Stage 2. The team clinched a top-four placing in Iceland and have continued to show off supreme confidence and unorthodox team compositions in regional competition.
What is the VCT APAC Stage 2 Challengers group stage?
The multi-regional competition features the top teams from Southeast Asia, Oceania, and South Asia. VCT APAC Stage 2 Challengers consists of three phases: the play-ins, group stage, and knockouts.
The group stage is the penultimate phase before the VCT APAC Stage 2 Challengers knockouts stage (also known as the playoffs).
12 teams made it to the group stage through their respective VCT Stage 2 Challengers regional tournaments, while four qualified via the play-ins.

The tournament will take place from June 15 to 20.
In total, four matches will be played each day from 11:00 a.m. GMT+8 onwards.
