North American organization TSM has signed Corey “Corey” Nigra, Daniel “Rossy” Abedrabbo, and Aleko “LeviathanAG” Gabuniya to complete its Valorant roster.
They will be joining the team’s core players, Matthew “Wardell” Yu and Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik, for the upcoming VCT 2022 season.
TSM add Corey and Rossy to its Valorant squad for 2022
Corey was a member of FaZe Clan’s Valorant roster that did not qualify for any international events including Valorant Champions in 2021.
Meanwhile, Rossy arrives from Immortals, a team that also struggled to advance in the competitive North American Valorant scene last year.
Roster rebuild around Wardell and Subroza after the 2021 VCT season
The North American squad’s performances in VCT NA qualifier events were largely middling amid eliminations by up-and-coming teams. The single tournament win TSM earned in the 2021 season was when they defeated FaZe Clan, 3-1, during VCT NA Stage 3 Challengers 2.
The team’s season came to an end after they lost to Team Envy and Rise in the VCT NA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs. Due to a lack of VCT circuit points, they also did not make it to the VCT NA Last Chance Qualifier.
TSM constantly reworked its roster during the season, but after missing Valorant Champions, only Wardell, Subroza, and mid-season acquisition LeviathanAG remained on the roster.
