Sentinels’ star Valorant player, Jay “Sinatraa” Won, has suffered a near-miss injury that nearly blinded the Former Overwatch World Cup 2019 champion and OWL MVP.
The accident occurred when Sinatraa hit his right eye really hard while doing resistance band exercises at the gym. He mentioned that he “went full blind for like three hours.”
The two-time Valorant Ignition Series champion did mention, however, that he “got lucky and only [suffered] a lot of scratches, bruising and blood on my retina.”
Sinatraa is expected to recover in a week or so, which does however mean that he will not be able to practice for the upcoming First Strike regional qualifiers scheduled to take place in the second half of October.
