The League of Legends Pro League (LPL) in China was the first major league to begin in January. After nine weeks of regular season gameplay, it will head into the LPL Spring 2022 Playoffs.
2021 World Champions Edward Gaming is among the top 10 teams that have qualified, alongside 2021 Mid-Season Invitational champions Royal Never Give Up.
The winner will represent the region at this year’s Mid-Season Invitational 2022, reportedly to be held in South Korea.

Full list of teams that have qualified for LPL Spring 2022 Playoffs
Out of the 17 franchised esports organizations competing in the 2022 LPL Spring split, the top 10 will qualify for playoffs. Their placement will affect which round they are seeded into.
Victory Five has secured a Round 4 seed, while Royal Never Give Up and JD Gaming have secured a Round 3 seed. Top Esports and Weibo Gaming will be seeded into Round 2.
The playoffs will likely follow the same king of the hill into double elimination format that the league adopted in 2021.
