The North American region is set to begin the second phase of its Valorant Champions Tour with the VCT NA Stage 3 Challengers 1 Main Event.
The competition includes the top eight teams that survived the first Open Qualifier.

The tournament will decide the first four teams that will advance to the VCT NA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs.
The top three finishers from the Challengers Playoffs advance to VCT Stage 3 Masters Berlin.

Format of the Challengers Main Event
The Main Event follows a double-elimination bracket with all teams competing in best-of-three matches, except for the grand final, which will be a best-of-five.
Breeze will be added into the map pool for VCT Stage 3 and will be available during the NA Challengers Main Event.
Valorant’s newly released agent KAY/O will not be available for VCT Challengers Week 1. The agent will debut in competitive play during Challengers Week 2 Open Qualifiers.

The tournament has a US$50,000 prize pool that will be shared among the teams according to their placing.

The top four teams advance to the VCT NA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs, while the bottom four teams will continue to the next VCT NA Stage 3 Challengers 2 Main Event on July 29.
