The International 2023 — the 12th edition of Dota 2’s premier Dota 2 tournament — is returning to Seattle in October this year.
TI12 will start with the group stage on October 14th, and will follow with the playoffs. In a new twist, these two events will run under one banner — The Road to the International, according to Valve’s announcement, with more details to come.
The International will properly kick off October 27, and ends October 29, Friday to Sunday. This new format seems reminiscent to TI11 in Singapore, a departure from past events in Seattle.

Where is the TI12 location?
TI12 will be held in the Climate Pledge Arena — the same stadium as the old KeyArena, just renamed. The last International to take place there was in 2017, when Kuro “KuroKy” Takhasomi’s Team Liquid became the first TI winners to take the grand finals 3-0.
The event’s location was announced at the ESL One Berlin Major, where Gaimin Gladiators were the eventual victors, marking their second Major win in a row.
