ECHO defeated defending champions Blacklist International in the grand final of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines Season 11 (MPL PH Season 11).
This marks the third consecutive time that both teams faced each other in the grand final.
Although Blacklist International won Season 10 with a 4-2 score, ECHO dominated the M4 World Championship and this year’s MPL PH Season 11 grand final, both with a 4-0 scoreline.
Blacklist International reached the grand final after beating Omega Esports, Bren Esports, and RSG Slate PH. Meanwhile, the M4 champions fought through the lower bracket, defeating Bren Esports and RSG Slate PH.

ECHO remains on top after beating rival Blacklist International at the MPL PH Season 11 grand final
In the first game, Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno’s Lancelot dominated the match, earning him the MVP with a perfect 5/0/5 KDA.
Moving on to the second game, ECHO opted for their comfortable picks of Fredrinn, Beatrix, and Lapu-Lapu while Blacklist International chose a team fight-oriented lineup consisting of jungle Baxia, Faramis, and Karrie.
In the third game, Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales shone on his Beatrix, racking up kills to finish with an impressive 11/1/7 KDA. Blacklist International struggled to keep up all throughout the game, failing to destroy any towers.
They carried their momentum into the final game, taking down Dominic “Owl” Gonzales’ Karrie in the midlane at the 13-minute mark and securing the uncontested Evolved Lord.
After eliminating four members of Blacklist International and pushing into their base, the orcas emerged as the new MPL PH champions.
EXP laner Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya was hailed the grand final MVP, the first in his career.
With the win, ECHO will take home the lion’s share of the US$150,000 prize pool. Both teams will also represent the Philippines in the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup 2023 (MSC 2023).
