The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang competitive scene in North America is heating up.

With the M4 North American Qualifier on the horizon, teams are hoping to secure a slot in the upcoming M4 World Championship, the biggest international MLBB tournament, early next year. One notable player looking for a team is Michael “MobaZane” Cosgun.

MobaZane is best known for leading BTK at the M3 World Championship where they finished third. The jungler recently revealed on stream that there are only two members left on the team, Ian “FwydChickn” Hohl and himself.

He added that they’re looking forward to join a new team to compete in the qualifiers, whom long-time MLBB fans may be familiar with.

The North American squad has been in a tough spot since the end of the M3 World Championship campaign. Just a month ago, ZIA, and SHARK left BTK after they failed to reach the playoffs at the North America Challenger Tournament.

Carti also announced a few days ago on his YouTube page that he had also left the team for undisclosed reasons. With only two members remaining on the squad, Zane outlined his plans for the upcoming qualifiers.

“Me and FwydChickn will probably end up joining The Valley for the qualifier and if we win that we go to the M4 World Championship,” he said.

According to Zane, The Valley’s roster will see familiar faces in the MLBB competitive scene including former BTK roamer SHARK, content creator and pro player Seonghun “Hoon” Jang, and former MPL PH player Peter Bryce “Basic” Lozano.

Hoon is currently a Wild Rift midlaner for Immortals, a North American team. He was previously a member of Team Gosu, which represented North America at the M1 World Championship. When he’s not competing, he makes MLBB content on his YouTube page, which currently has 490,000 subscribers.

Basic played for Team Gosu in 2019 before participating at the MPL PH Season 5 Qualifiers where they finished first. His team was then picked up by ULVL. After they finished in 7-8th place and lost their slot the next season, he transferred to ONIC PH. He returned to North America after one season.

“Everyone on the team doesn’t have any issues except for FwydChickn and SHARK,” MobaZane added. “They have a minor personal issue with each other that needs to be addressed, but that’s about it.”

Moonton has yet to announce the date for the M4 North American Qualifier or whether there will be more than one slot for the region at the M4 World Championship.
