Three members of the iconic PSG.LGD roster that dominated from 2018 to 2019 are reuniting once more.
Lu “Somnus” Yao, Yang “Chalice” Shenyi, and Xu “fy” Linsen headline the new Azure Ray roster. They will take over YBB Gaming’s slot in Division 1 of the Chinese Dota Pro Circuit, and will be playing in Tour 3 in hopes of attending the Bali Major.
“We were touched by the Berlin Major, and we will ‘Make CNDOTA great again’,” Azure Ray announced, as translated by ONE Esports. “We know people are excited, but we hope that everybody can be patient, and give the players their support, time, and trust.”
The three former PSG.LGD players are reportedly playing without salary — and purely out of a love for the game.

- Jiang “天命” An
- Zhang “LaNm” Zhicheng (coach)
While the three players, part of one of PSG.LGD’s most dominant era, headline the squad, the three other members of the roster are no slouch too.
Lou is one of the standout young carries from China, having played for Ybb Gaming and Xtreme Gaming. 天命 is a long-time support player who lists EHOME, Keen Gaming, and Team Aster on his resume. LaNm is a veteran of the game who’s been around since the very start, and transitioned into one of the best and most sought-after coaches in China.
For those wondering if the full former PSG.LGD squad might get together — Wang “Ame” Chunyu remains inactive under the PSG.LGD banner, while Yap “xNova” Jian Wei is playing for BOOM Esports.
